We’re looking forward to a great season. We’ll help kick off the season for the entire league with the Fourth Annual Opening Day Parade and Celebration this Friday, May 2 at Dean Park.

Below is the schedule of events:

4:45 p.m.: We encourage all families to arrive between 4:45 and 5 p.m. to Upper Dean where the parade will begin

5:30 p.m.: The parade will begin, led by the Shrewsbury Fire Department and Jake the Lion from the Worcester Bravehearts

5:45 p.m.: The Opening Day Ceremony will take place on the Dean 1 baseball field

6 p.m.: The annual Home Run Derby for our Little Leaguers in their final year of traditional baseball and softball, along with players from the Challenger division, will take place on the Dean 1 baseball field.

During the HR Derby, families will be able to purchase traditional ball park cuisine from Shrewsbury Little League’s great supporters- Creedon & Co., and the Bravehearts pizza truck.
