2026 Summer Softball Open Programs

Welcome to registration for the Shrewsbury Little League 2026 Summer Softball season! Shrewsbury Little League ("SLL") provides girls ages 4 - 12 the opportunity to learn and develop their softball skills in a summer program that aims to provide a fun and exciting youth sports experience for players of all abilities.

There are a couple options for the summer season - be sure to check out the descriptions below to see what program fits your player's needs! All the offerings are subject to player interest and coach availability.

The following programs are open but do have limited spots. The Select Teams will be found under a separate registration. If you have any questions about the programs, please contact [email protected].

Travel Team (Minors):

Cost: $145
Description: This team will compete against teams from surrounding towns in a competitive format, with multiple events per week including practices and games.
Limited slots available - first come, first served!
Schedule: Games M and W; Practice time to be decided - No Fridays or Weekend Play!
Registration: Closes May 29th

Travel Team (Rookie):

Cost: $120
Description: This team will compete against teams from surrounding towns in a competitive format, with multiple events per week including practices and games.
Limited slots available - first come, first served! In the case there is not an opening for an interested player, we will move that player to the casual program or issue a refund.
Schedule: Games T and Th; Practice time to be decided - No Fridays or Weekend Play!
Registration: Closes May 29th

Summer Clinic (Tee/Rookie):

Cost: $75
Description: This league meets weekly for skills development, casual, and fun scrimmages. Ideal for new players or seasoned players seeking a relaxed, low-commitment environment during the busy summer months.
Format: Once a week, length of session depends on the age group - no Fridays or Weekend Play!
Locations & Times: Thursday 5pm
Registration: Closes June 14th

Important information and notes:

Softball age = your player will remain in the same division as spring (as a reminder the age of player ON August 31st 2025.)
Add your spouse as an additional contact under the primary account (instead of creating a new account for them).
IF YOU ARE A SHREWSBURY RESIDENT, you can skip uploading proof of residency and school enrollment forms. Players that reside outside of Shrewsbury MUST complete the proof of residence / school enrollment forms to verify eligibility.
If you would like to volunteer as a head coach, assistant coach, team parent or other volunteer, please complete the necessary registrations.
